Your submission should be a photo taken by you, during the week of the challenge, using a technique you haven’t tried before.
This week, we’re encouraging you to try A New Technique – take a photo using a concept or skill that you haven’t tried out earlier. Why? Because venturing into these uncharted territories can level up our photo game and add a splash of creativity to our images, now and in the future. I’m sure there are tons of concepts that you may have been hesitant to try out and some that you haven’t even considered (I didn’t know infrared photography was a thing).
This week i chose to try my hand at Butane Bubbles. I’ve been meaning to try it for a while and just never got around to it. So I enlisted Mike to help out and gave it a shot. It was fun to play with fire but i dont see myself using it as a technique any time soon. It’s messy, and its still fire that is hard to control.
