You have 7 days to take a photo with your subject placed in the direct center of your frame.
This week we are doing the one thing that you really should generally NOT do in photography: place your subject in the direct center of your frame. The reason you shouldn’t do this normally is because your compositions can feel lost in the center, especially if it’s a human subject with a ton of “head room” above them. Generally speaking, your subjects will appear more flattering when they are leaning towards a side, or a third, not in the middle. However, leaning into this method and positioning your subject dead center could yield striking results, drawing attention INTO your frame and creating a unique sense of balance or symmetry in your photo.
