You have 7 days to take a photo of shapes, colors, textures, or patterns that ignite your imagination. Or capture a scene we might recognize, and then let it dissolve into a less definite form of itself.
Happy abstract week! Taking photos is usually about capturing the realistic world as the camera ‘sees’ it. If you see a man walking on the street and then photograph him, your camera will clearly capture a man walking on the street. You, the photographer, can show that the man is in a hurry by adding motion blur or imply that he is sad by capturing or editing with a certain color palette. But we can go even further and ONLY have the motion blur to show the sense of movement or JUST the colors of the scene to connote sadness. Picasso said about abstracts that you start with something real and then remove all traces of reality.
