You have 7 days to take a portrait (preferably of a stranger)
Recognizing how much some people simply can’t bring themselves to speak to a stranger, we are adjusting to allow for a portrait.
Take a deep breath. We hope this is NOT as difficult as it seems in your head. Let’s get the easy wins out of the way first: your local barista, your mailperson, a cashier, your Uber driver, a street performer – these people are already out there interacting with people and already giving you a smile. Most, if not all, will say SURE. Other low-effort options: find a Framer in your area you’ve never met (they’re technically strangers, and going through the same fears as you this week), take a portrait of a friend’s friend (you don’t “know” them but they’re not a total stranger), or bring an extrovert with you and let them do the talking. You’ve got options.
