High ISO usually gets a bad rap for looking noisy and flat, but this week we’re embracing the imperfection. Kick the ISO way up, notice how the sensor reacts, and turn that gritty texture into a style. Think night‑street scenes, candle‑lit portraits, or any low‑light spot where flash feels out of place. You can even add extra grain in post to give the shot a film‑like vibe.
This is a recreation of a Main street located in the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources located near El Dorado, AR. https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/arkansas-museum-natural-resources It’s a small state park with this indoor setup. Lots of neat paraphernalia from the oil boom. Decided on black and white as the photo itself shows early 19th century items.
