What is Low Key Photography? Simply put, it’s shooting a photo that has more dark in the frame, than light. Easy enough, right?
Low key photography is all about intentionally embracing shadows and using just a hint of light to carve out your subject. This is not the same as underexposing — in fact, the light you do include should be deliberate and well-exposed. It’s an amazing tool for adding mystery, drama, or mood to a scene.
Kinda ran out of time this week and wasn’t super creative. Below is how it was taken with an added light so the cameraphone would take a good photo.
