Photo Challenge Week 5, 2026: Chair

From the website 52Frames: Just the Facts: You have 7 days to submit a photo whose subject is “a chair”.

Thank you for joining us this week—please, have a seat. This isn’t about what the chair is; it’s about the story you create with it. Who uses this chair? Where is it? What happened just before—or what’s about to happen next? Keep the chair visibly present and meaningful, not a prop in the background. Even if you go with a macro detailed shot of a chair, this also tells a story.

Feature photo is the one i used for the challenge although i liked the one below as well. Photo was darkened and tinted green to give the movie vibe, along with the movement being photoshopped in to provide the viewer focus. Light in both seats just out of sight and another pointed at the back of the seat closest – highlighting the seat and top of table.

Had access to these two chairs that reminded me of the scene in the Matrix of the two pills.
Morpheus says “You take the blue pill… the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill… you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
Yes, the movie came out in 1999, but it’s still one of my favorites.
